Eight Questions Answered For You
Choosing the right martial arts school is a big decision. Whether you’re looking for fitness, confidence, competition, or real-world self-defense, you deserve clear answers before you commit.
Here are eight common questions, answered honestly and clearly.
1) How Often Can I Train?
This depends on the program you sign up for.
Our Muay Thai Kickboxing program offers three structured classes per week, plus a Saturday sparring session for students who want to test their skills in a controlled environment.
Our All Styles / MMA program and our Jiu-Jitsu program have something happening every single day. That means you can train as often as your schedule and recovery allow.
Whether you want to train twice a week or immerse yourself daily, we have a schedule that fits your goals.
2) What About Training Options for Children Under 13?
If your child is under 13 and training with us, they can attend classes Monday through Thursday, and they are also welcome to join the wrestling class on Sunday.
Most children train either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday, but they are welcome to train every available day if they choose.
All of this is included at no additional charge.
3) Are There Any Hidden Fees or Costs?
Absolutely not.
Some schools charge:
- Belt testing fees
- Promotion fees
- Annual registration fees
- Required equipment purchased only through them
- **This Item Can Really Set You Back**
- **We Have Heard Of Academies Requiring $250 Uniform Purchase **
- ** We Don’t Care About That You Can Even Wear You Old School Uniform Everyone Makes Mistakes **
We do not do this.
When you join, your rate is your rate. You are grandfathered in at that price. If rates increase in the future, older students continue paying the same rate they started with.
We believe in transparency and loyalty.
4) Do I Need to Be in Shape Before I Start?
No.
You do not need to “get in shape” to begin. Training gets you in shape. Every class is structured so beginners can start safely and progress at their own pace.
Everyone starts somewhere.
5) Am I Too Old (or Too Young) to Start?
We train students of all ages.
Whether you’re a child building confidence, a teenager developing discipline, or an adult wanting strength and stress relief, martial arts meets you where you are.
It’s not about age. It’s about attitude.
6) Is It Safe?
Safety is a top priority.
All sparring is supervised. Drills are structured. Beginners are never thrown into situations they are not prepared for.
Control, discipline, and respect are foundational principles in every class.
7) What If I’ve Never Done Martial Arts Before?
Perfect.
Most of our students started with zero experience. Our curriculum is designed to take someone from day one fundamentals to advanced skills step by step.
No ego. No pressure. Just progression.
8) Can I Try a Class Before Committing?
Yes.
We encourage prospective students to come experience a class, meet the instructors, and see the culture for themselves.
The best way to understand what we offer is to step on the mat.
